Steven Jones is an American meteorologist working for KRIS as the morning meteorologist since joining the station in October 2025. Previously, he worked as the weekend meteorologist at KSAN in San Angelo, Texas, for 2 years.

Jones joined Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in August 2017 after completing his high school education. In August 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. While in college, he was involved with the Texas A&M Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society(TAMSCAMS) and the Texas Aggie Storm Chasers(TASC).
