Susan Heyward is an American actress best known for starring in the PlayStation Network original series Powers and HBO period drama Vinyl. The year 2018 to 2019, Heyward had a recurring role as Tamika Ward in the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black.

She began her career as a guest star on television shows such as Law & Order and 30 Rock, as well as Off-Broadway productions. She was a regular cast member on Comedy Central’s short-lived comedy series Michael & Michael Have Issues in 2009. She had a recurring role in Fox’s thriller series The Following in 2014. In 2013, she made her Broadway debut in The Trip to Bountiful, opposite Cicely Tyson.

In the Netflix comedy-drama series Orange Is the New Black, Heyward played Tamika Ward, the new Warden in Litchfield prison, from 2018 to 2019. Heyward was cast as Rose Granger-Weasley in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway in 2018.
