Prior to that, she served at WNCN-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina as a Morning & Noon News Anchor for one and a half years (January 2018 – July 2019).

Wright has also worked for KJRH-TV in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a Weekday Noon/Morning News Anchor & Reporter for one and a half years (February 2016 – July 2017). She has also served at WDVM TV in Hagerstown, Maryland as a Noon/Evening News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer for 2 years, and at WFLA-TV in Tampa, Florida as an Associate Producer/Producer for 6 years and 9 months (April 2007 – December 2013). She began her career at WDVM.
