Tasmin Mahfuz is an American journalist working for WGAL as an anchor of News 8 at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. since joining the station in 2024. Previously, she worked for WDVM, formerly known as WHAG, as an evening news anchor.

Additionally, she worked as the host of a weekly public affairs program that links state and congressional representatives in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia to their constituents.
Mahfuz started her career at Ebru TV, an international network. There, she filed reports from the greater New York City region. Next, she served ABC4Utah, where she debuted the station’s initial news bureau in southern Utah. The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation granted her its Gracie Outstanding Producer in TV News Award in 2015. The Society of Professional Journalists-Utah Chapter also recognized her for her work as a multimedia journalist.
