Taylor Kinney is an American actor and model who is widely known for his roles in The Vampire Diaries, Zero Dark Thirty, Phil in The Other Woman, and Chicago Fire Department Lieutenant Kelly Severide in Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med.

He was a graduate of the Mennonite School of Lancaster in 2000. Kinney studied Business Management at Morgantown West Virginia University. Kinney played Luke Gianni on MyNetworkTV’s Fashion House (2006) and Glenn Morrison on NBC’s Trauma. The Vampire Diaries, which joined the cast in the second period as Mason Lockwood, played a recurring role in Kinney’s supernatural drama.
