Upon completing high school, Taylor attended the University of Florida in 2012 where she graduated with a degree in telecommunication and journalism in 2016. At University, she was a member of various clubs such as Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, Project Mascot, and National Broadcasting Society. She joined the station in May 2016 working as a fill-in sports anchor and reporter before later accepting a position as a fill-in anchor. While still working at KADN News, Taylor also serves as an anchor at 6 pm on Allen Media Broadcasting ( AMB).
She started her career as a main anchor at WUFT-TV in Florida where she provided top stories and edited scripts. Trache joined the station in January 2015 working as a producer and anchor at WUFT’s News in 90. While there, she operated the teleprompter, wrote script content, and conducted interviews for the station. She also edited videos and produced news mainly focusing on international, national, and local news.
On top of that, Taylor also worked as a reporter and specialty anchor at WUFT’s First at Five newscasts. During her time at WUFT News, she covered stories around North Florida, supervised new radio students, and assisted them in editing and writing. For her work, Trache was honored with the regional Society of Professional Journalists award for the best Radio Sports Reporting. In 2015, she won the professional Associated Press award for her best coverage reports.
