Terry Mcfadden Biography
Terry McFadden is an American anchor/reporter working at WNDU where he serves as the anchor of the early evening and late editions of 16 News Now. He joined the 16 News Now team in 1993, as a news and sports reporter.

Mcfadden is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s Grade School and Saint Joseph’s High School, as well as the University of Notre Dame, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in communications.

Mcfadden works at 16 News Now where he serves as the co-anchors of the early evening and late editions. He began his career in broadcasting at WNDU-TV in 1982, as a news and sports reporter. South Bend is his native home and he has received a number of first-place awards from the Indiana Society of Professional Journalists and the Indiana Associated Press. In addition, he also won the RTNDA’s prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.
He is also a one-time award-winning broadcast journalist who is currently a Media Advisor to broadcast students on NDTV at the University of Notre Dame and WSND/WVFI Radio. If he is not spending time with his family, he enjoys a plethora of home-improvement projects. He also works on a 1967 Mustang Fastback that he bought while he was in college. In addition, his most memorable moment was when he attended the 1984 World Series along with his dad and brothers in Detroit.
Furthermore, he enjoys fishing, and together with his brothers, cousins, and close friends, they make an annual pilgrimage to Canada for bass fishing, walleye, pike, and pike. Together with his sister who previously worked at 16 News Now as an anchor, they are actively involved with the Alzheimer’s Services of Northern Indiana. In addition, Mcfadden is also a master of ceremonies for Real Services’ annual Age of Excellence Awards.
