Tia Maggio is an American journalist working for WJCL as a weekday reporter for the 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. shows since joining the station in January 2024. Previously, she worked as a multimedia journalist, anchor, and digital producer at KOMU 8 News.

Maggio joined the University of Missouri in Columbia in August 2019 after finishing her education at Lindbergh High School in May. In December 2023, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.
During her time in college, she was involved with the RTDNA and the Kappa Alpha Theta-Mu Chapter. Also, she worked as a multimedia journalist, anchor, and digital producer at KOMU 8 News. There, she passionately broadcast several stories, including investigative pieces and community-based pieces.
