Tim Allen, born Timothy Alan Dick is an American actor and comedian best known for his on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement and on the ABC/Fox sitcom Last Man Standing.

Allen is known for his role in the ABC sitcom home improvement as  Tim “The Toolman” Taylor from the year 1991 to 1999 and Mike Baxter on the ABC/Fox sitcom Last Man Standing in 2011. After serving at the federal correctional institution in Sandstone, Minnesota, for two years and four months, he was paroled on June 12, 1981.
