For 15 years, he has told stories in Savannah in the local paper, attaining over 100 state and national writing awards for his features, profiles, commentary, and analysis. The Staten Island native relocated to Savannah in 1992 for six months. Ever since he has become the kind of Yankee who doesn’t leave and marries a Savannah girl.
