She served as an inductee of Philadelphia’s Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2014.
The Montgomery Child Advocacy project awarded her the “Hero Award” in 2017. With a passion for numerous causes, most of her time is devoted to community services. She advocates for victims of domestic violence. She received honors from both the Laurel House in Norristown and Vera House in Syracuse.
Davidson served Philabundance on its Board of Directors and worked as an Honorary Chair for the March of Dimes’ Walk America/March for Babies. Also, she served Minding Your Mind’s yearly gala as an Honorary Chair. She serves among the co-chairs of the Communication Committee for Vision 2020. Davidson loves motivational speaking where she delivers various topics, and freely shares her breast cancer survival story with her message: “Don’t Wait.”
