Travis Mayfield Biography

Travis Mayfield is a former American anchor and reporter, he most recently served as an anchor and host on Q13 News This Morning. He was part of the Q13 news for a while and his final day at the station was on 29th October 2021.

Mayfield graduated from high school and later furthered his studies at Gonzaga University, where he studied and graduated earning himself a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

While still at Gonzaga University, Travis started his career in broadcast journalism at NBC’s Today Show in New York City then later spent a year at KHQ-TV in Spokane. Right after attaining his degree, he left for Montana where he produced, reported, and anchored for NBC Montana.

He later got another great opportunity at KNDO-TV in Yakima which made his return to Washington where he was working as a special projects reporter then went back to Spokane where he worked as a consumer reporter at KXLY-TV.

In 2006 he went back to Seattle where he first served as a reporter for KOMO News on the radio and television, he got a promotion and became the Community Network Manager, Executive Producer, and Director of Digital Social Strategy for the Fisher Interactive Network. He then got another job offer at Q13 FOX.
