Trevor Sochocki is an American journalist working for WFLA as a nightside reporter. He joined the station in August 2022. Previously, he worked for WNEM-TV5 in Saginaw and Flint as a reporter and weekend morning anchor.

Sochocki attended the University of Southern California after completing his high school education at Leland High School. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and an International Relations minor. During his time in college, he served BBC, NBC Los Angeles, and CBS News as an intern.

While working in Mitten. he received a Michigan Association of Broadcasters award for broadcasting the hunger and food insecurity throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

At WNEM, he provided coverage for the armed protests at the state capitol, the Oxford school shooting, the Flint Water Crisis, and the conspiracy (and following case) of militia members to abduct Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Also, he has broadcast weather such as blizzards, several tornadoes, and floods including the recovery from the unforgettable 2020 floods.

Sochocki reported and anchored for Annenberg Media. While there, he broadcasted the demise of Kobe Bryant, the Woolsey Fire, and the admissions dispute. Since he was young, he knew that he wanted to appear on the news, and edit videos.
