Prior to his time in El Paso, he worked in Los Angeles at Epicleff Media as an executive producer and in public information and outreach for a year. He worked in Las Vegas at KSNV as a news reporter for 2 years before he moved to Los Angeles. He worked at KGET in Bakersfield as a multimedia journalist and sports anchor for 2 years.
