Tyler Manion is an American journalist working for WTOC as a co-anchor of The News at 5:30 p.m. during the week. He joined the station in May 2021 as a reporter. Previously, he worked for Arizona PBS as a production intern.
Tyler Manion Education
Manion joined the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University when he finished his high school education in 2017. In 2021, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Journalism. During college, he worked as a news anchor and news broadcast reporter for Cronkite News. He interned at Bourne Braves as a sideline reporter. He served the Walter Cronkite Sports Network as broadcast reporter and president.

During his time at WTOC, he’s broadcasted a couple of tropical systems out in the elements, spearheaded the broadcast of the Murdaugh family including the double murder case, and shed light on community occasions such as the Beaufort Water Festival or Hampton County Watermelon Festival.
