Victoria Justice is an American American actress and singer who gained fame for starring as Tori Vega in Nickelodeon’s Victorious. During her career, she received multiple awards, including two Young Artist Awards, three Imagen Awards nominations, an NAACP Image Award, and three Kids’ Choice Awards.

Justice decided to pursue an acting career at the age of 8. She started modeling and doing a lot of commercials before she and her family decided to relocate to Hollywood in 2003. She previously did a modeling campaign for Union Bay. Additionally, she is signed with Jet Set Models. She has received multiple awards, including three Imagen Awards nominations, an NAACP Image Award, two Young Artist Awards, and three Kids’ Choice Awards in her career. She debuted in the acting industry when she appeared in Gilmore Girls in 2003 at the age of 10.

After starring in Gilmore Girls, Justice relocated to Los Angeles where she started her acting career. She guest-starred in Disney’s The Suite Life of Zack & Cody where she played Rebecca. Next, she appeared as Stella in Mary. She attained fame when she starred in Nickelodeon films including Zoey 101, Victorious, and The Boy Who Cried Werewolf. Next, she starred in The First Time, Fun Size, Naomi and Ely’s No Kiss List, The Outcasts, Trust, Afterlife of the Party, and A Perfect Pairing. In 2015, she appeared in the role of Lindy Sampson on MTV’s Eye Candy.

Aside from appearing in films, Justice has recorded a couple of songs for the soundtracks of the films she appeared in like Victorious and Nickelodeon’s musical, Spectacular! In 2013, she debuted her single “Gold.” For seven years, she went on a hiatus from music and made a comeback in December 2020 with the song, “Treat Myself.”

2020 to present;

In 2020, Justice worked as the host of the Kids’ Choice Awards after Nickelodeon chose to virtually stage the event. In July of the same year, she started working as a member of the Recording Academy. Her first single as an independent artist, “Treat Myself” was released in December 2020. Her next single, “Stay” was issued on February 12, 2021. On May 28, 2021, she released her single, “Too F*ckin’ Nice.”

Justice appeared as Brooke Gatwick in Trust in 2021. She promoted the film by releasing a cover of Billy Paul’s “Everybody’s Breaking Up.” In September of the same year, she appeared as Cassie Garcia in  Afterlife of the Party. She performed and co-wrote “Home.” She played the role of Lola Alvarez in Netflix’s  A Perfect Pairing.

In 2023, she played Annie in the thriller, The Tutor. Also, she joined the cast of California King where she played Lynette and in Sic. She released the single, “Last Man Standing” on February 19, 2023. She is scheduled to publish a debut studio album.

Philanthropy

Aside from singing and acting, Justice is involved with various charity efforts and has supported charities like the United Nations Foundation which donates to causes like Human Rights, Environment, AIDS, Children, Health, and Peace.

In September 2010, Justice publicized her decision to join the charity campaign Girl Up. She said that she was excited to join the campaign and help the girls who don’t have the same opportunities. She joined the campaign on September 30, 2010, for its official debut in New York City. Justice supported the “Unite for Girls” tour and traveled across the United States. She visited countries that have Girl Up programs and witnessed the immediate effects the programs have on the girls and communities.
