Wesley Boone is an American Anchor/Reporter/Director known for his time working with KTAL NBC 6 News where he serves the station as a Sports Director since September 2020. He joined the KTAL team working as a reporter in March 2020 and the station in December 2022. He now works for Ochsner Health serving the team as a Digital Content Specialist since January 2023.

Boone works with KTAL News where he serves the station as a Sports Director and joined the station working as a Sports Reporter. He kick-started his career working behind and in front of the camera when he was working for the Southeast Channel at Southeastern Louisiana University. There, he honed and developed his passion for storytelling.
During his time at Southeastern, he got afforded the opportunity to cover all of Southeastern’s major sports. The year 2018 saw him being awarded Collegiate Louisiana Broadcaster of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters, the first winner in exclusively sports coverage. Asides from this he was awarded Second place in Sports Feature Story, First place in Videography and a Best in Show Award, and First place in Feature Story at the Collegiate Associated Press Awards.
Boone was also hired by his hometown station, KALB, in 2008 where he was working as a sports anchor. He has also covered all Cenla sports and had to offer for over a year before accepting a position as an MMJ for the #1 High School Sports Show in the nation, 49ers Cal-Hi Sports Reporter. Away from work, he enjoys going to the movies, hanging out with his family, and going to the movies.
