Yocelin Gallardo Biography
Yocelin Gallardo is an American journalist working for KGNS as an evening anchor and executive producer since February 2021. She joined the station in November 2019 as a multimedia journalist, noon anchor, and host. Previously, she worked for KLTV in Tyler, Texas as a multimedia journalist and anchor.

Gallardo joined California State University, Fresno in 2009 when she finished her high school education. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Public Relations/Image Management and Multimedia Journalism. During college, she was a member of the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
Gallardo was a communication intern for Fresno State Athletics and a committee member of Fresno State’s Motivate Conference. She also worked as a multimedia journalist for The Collegian and reporter for The Fresno Art Council. In addition, she served TALK- Strategic Promotion Solutions as an executive director and senior account manager. She was a research assistant for Fresno State’s Department of Mass Communication & Journalism.

Gallardo has worked for KGNS as an evening anchor and executive producer since February 2021. Before that role, she served the station as the KGNS’ Early Edition anchor. Upon joining the station, she first worked as a multimedia journalist, noon anchor, and host. This is her second stint with the station, having served the station from April 2015 to September 2017 as a multimedia journalist.
After her first stint with KGNS, she worked for KLTV in Tyler, Texas as an MMJ, weekend morning anchor, and producer. Following her graduation, she started her career in Fresno, her hometown, at KSEE24 and CBS47 as a production assistant. During her career, she has broadcasted many community stories, problems surrounding the U.S./Mexico border, and big weather damage.
