His first day of the internship was pretty wild as he covered the damage caused by a tornado that ripped through parts of his hometown. He was able to work alongside every meteorologist on every shift to make sure this was what he wanted to do for a career. He was even more certain afterward that this was what he wanted to do and where he wanted to work. Five years later, that dream became a reality.
During his time at Hamden High School, Duhaime delivered accurate forecasts of some of the most notable storms in recent history, including the October Snowstorm, Super Storm Sandy, Tropical Storm Irene, and the blizzard of 2013.

In this role, he covered New York City, the Hudson Valley, Long Island, and western Connecticut. He delivered his first live forecast from his makeshift bedroom studio in April 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, he broadcast multiple severe weather events at News 12, including Tropical Storm Isaias, which he covered from home with limited access to the studio in Long Island due to pandemic restrictions.
Duhaime began serving WGGB-Western Mass News (WMN) in Springfield, Massachusetts, as a freelance broadcast meteorologist in the fall of 2020. There, he had the chance to use a real TV studio, as opposed to his makeshift bedroom studio at this time. While in Springfield, he was involved with multiple team coverage events for severe weather events, snowstorms, and record heat/cold. In 2022, he was promoted to weekend morning meteorologist, a position he held until he joined WTNH.
