Hailey Barrus is an American former anchor and multimedia journalist known for having worked at KTIV-TV as a weekend weather anchor and multimedia journalist. She joined KTIV-TV in April 2021 and departed in February 2023. She has been serving Imaging Brands, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona as a full-time Content and Marketing Manager, since July 2022.

In 2017, Barrus joined Morningside University in Sioux City where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and a minor in photography in 2021. While she studied at Morningside University, she was an active member of Morningside’s newscasts and served as an editor for their online newspaper, known as the Collegian Reporter. Her favorite part about Morningside was performing with the Theatre department in productions.

Pocatello, Idaho is her native home however, she has been residing in Belmond, Iowa together with her family for the last 10 years. She is happy about residing in Siouxland and she continues connecting with people throughout the community to tell their stories. During her spare time, she enjoys attending various Sioux City music events, creating artwork, being involved in theatre, and spending time with family and friends.
