Sharon Rose Biography

Sharon Rose Vaznis is an American anchor/reporter working for WCSH as the weekday morning co-anchor of The Morning Report. 

Vermonter is her native home, and she attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York where she graduated Magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1989. Later on, she began her career at NEWS CENTER Maine where she served as a weekend producer, and within a short period of time, she had worked her way up through the ranks to her current position as co-anchor of the station’s top-rated morning newscast.

For her outstanding work as an anchor, she was nominated for an Emmy award however, she did not win the award. Throughout the years, she has developed a keen interest in holistic health and wellness, and in alternative forms of medicine. Furthermore, she first came to Maine while on a family with her family when she was 14 years old.
