Alex Maragos is an American journalist working for NBC Chicago as an anchor on weekdays at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and contributes stories to NBC 5’s Investigates unit. Before that role, he worked as an anchor of the weekend evening newscasts and filed field reports thrice a week. He joined the station in August 2015 as a general assignment reporter.

There, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Indiana Broadcasters Association awarded him for breaking news and feature reporting.
