Aaron Cantrell Biography
Aaron Cantrell is an American News Reporter working for FOX 59/CBS 4 since joining the station in October of 2018. Prior to joining the team, he spent two years in Huntsville, Alabama working as a Reporter/MMJ for WHNT News 19.
Cantrell attended college at Middle Tennessee State University. At his college station, he was an Anchor/Reporter for MT10 and later interned for WTVF in Nashville while still at the university. While in Huntsville; he was WHNT’s top crime reporter. He as well spent a year in Monroe, Louisiana as a Reporter/MMJ. Aaron covered the shooting death of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge and the historic ArkLaMiss flooding event in Louisiana.
Cantrell has a great passion for reporting and storytelling. He likes helping families get justice and helping them heal through sharing their stories. He is grateful hundreds of families have trusted him over the years to share their loved ones’ stories. It’s a privilege that he doesn’t take so easily. Aaron is excited to be in Central Indiana and is proud to be welcomed as a Hoosier!
