Alex Walker is an American journalist working for WFTV as a sports anchor for Channel 9 since joining the station in September 2022. Previously, he covered the Kentucky Wildcats, horse racing, and the SEC for WKYT in Lexington, Kentucky for 4 years.

Walker joined Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors College in 2010 when he finished his studies at Central York High School. In 2014, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Sports Journalism.
While in college, he worked as a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
