Melonie Holt is an American journalist working for WFTV as a general assignment reporter since joining the station in May 2004. Previously, she served WSOC in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an anchor and reporter for 8 years, from 1996 to 2004.

During her time at WSOC, Holt won a Mid-South Emmy for broadcasting an ice storm that blanketed the Queen City. While hosting Metrolina Forum, she won three honors from the Muscular Dystrophy Association for increasing awareness of neuromuscular diseases.
Holt also served WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky as a health reporter and weekend anchor. She believes that everyone has a story to tell and is excited to meet the numerous interesting people who live in Central Florida.
