Alison Starling is an American Emmy Award-Winning journalist working for WJLA serving as an anchor. She co-anchors WJLA-TV weekday 4 PM and 5 PM newscasts. She joined the station in August 2003.

Starling is a journalist who started her career in television at WDEF-TV in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she served as an anchor and a reporter. She, later on, moved to KIRO-TV in Seattle, Washington, where she worked for three years and managed to enclose the Seattle earthquake while at KIRO-TV.
She then joined forces with WJLA-TV and after a year she became co-anchor of Good Morning Washington (5-7 AM) and ABC7 News at Noon. In 2005, Washingtonian named her one of the area’s rising stars in local television news. Previously, she served as the co-anchor of the early morning program Good Morning Washington. Whenever she is not working she enjoys spending some time with her husband and two children, trying out new restaurants, and doing outdoor activities.
