Alyssa Ivanson is an American journalist who serves as the morning and noon anchor for Fort Wayne’s number-one news station. She began working as a reporter/producer for WANE 15 in January 2006.

She spent eight years as a weekend evening anchor and two years as the lead investigative reporter for 15 Finds Out before going to the AM anchor desk in 2018. Alyssa enjoys sharing the stories of our community. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, the Indiana Broadcasters Association, and the Indiana Associated Press, and she has been nominated for 12 regional Emmy awards. Alyssa was named ‘Best Reporter’ three times by the Associated Press.
Alyssa earned a Telecommunications – News Option degree and a double minor in Journalism and Public Relations from Ball State University’s Honors College in 2006. She is an Erin’s House for Grieving Children Facilitator, a member of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build Committee, and a former Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She was selected “National Big Sister of the Year” in 2013. Ivanson also enjoys traveling and competitive ballroom dancing. Alyssa and her husband adore Fort Wayne, where they live, work, and play!
