Colton Howard is an American journalist who serves as the Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter for WANE 15. He has been a member of the sports team since December 2019.

Colton worked as an intern for WISH-TV in Indianapolis and studied Digital Video Production with a Minor in Journalistic Storytelling at Ball State University before moving to Fort Wayne. He was the Sports Director of his collegiate news station, “NewsLink Indiana,” where he covered teams such as the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Purdue Boilermakers, and Indiana Hoosiers, as well as events such as the Indianapolis 500. Colton also won the Indiana Broadcasters Association Student Scholarship for 2019.
He was born and raised in Indiana and began playing sports at a young age, beginning with baseball at the age of five and progressing to tennis in high school. Colton spends his free time exploring different restaurants, going to games as a fan, hanging out with pals, and playing with his adopted bulldog “Migo.”
