She joined the station in April 2015 after working for KRNV News 4-Reno as a reporter, anchor, and forecaster.

Sacks joined the University of Nevada in 2007 when she finished her high school education at Robert McQueen High School. In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Sociology. During college, she was a soccer player for the Nevada Wolf Pack. Four times, she was named Academic All-WAC. Wolf Pack named her the Women’s Soccer Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year in 2008 and 2009.

Sacks continues her soccer career as a youth soccer coach in Iowa. She works as a coach for Vision Soccer Academy in Waukee. Away from the newsroom, she hosts a social media segment where she answers anything including community projects, local events, and family matters to the viewers.
