Jayanth serves as an anchor and reporter at FOX 19/WXIX. Prior to this role, she served as a reporter from July 2016 to August 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She previously worked for ABC22/FOX45 where she served as a reporter as well as a Fill-in-anchor from July 2011 to July 2016.

Prior to ABC22, she worked for WMDT 47 News where she served as a news anchor and reporter from July 2008 to July 2011. Before her tenure at WMDT-TV, she worked for KPLR 11 where she served as a feature reporter/AP from June 2007 to July 2008. She started her journalism career at WGN-TV where she interned from February 2007 to June 2007.

Jayanth has also managed to win several awards including two AP awards for her start-to-finish coverage of the district’s down and out. While at KPLR in St. Louis, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for a standard society story, with a focus on the program SistaKeeper, which attracts young people. Whenever she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
