Dan Wells is an American anchor and reporter working for FOX19 serving as the Morning News Anchor. He has been working for the station since joining in 2008.

Wells serves as the Morning News Anchor at FOX19 WXIX based in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Prior to this role, he served as a reporter of the FOX19 NOW 10 p.m. news on a variety of daily news events. He also went to Arizona/Mexico to do a special report on the border and immigration issues affecting life here in the Tri-State.
Wells, later on, moved to anchor and report on the FOX19 NOW Morning News. Furthermore, he was given the chance to launch the FOX19 NOW Weekend Morning News. He then started serving as the anchor of the FOX19 NOW Weekday Morning News in March 2016.
Wells previously worked at WJET where he served as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor in Erie, Pennsylvania. Before that, he had worked for KMIR, the NBC affiliate in Palm Springs, California where he served as a general assignment reporter. He started his journalism career in Phoenix, Arizona at KNXV the ABC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona. He went to Clarion University where he attained his bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism/communications.
