Angela Green is an American Anchor known for working with WTXL Sunrise Team/ABC27 News where she served the station as a co-anchor for the morning newscasts. Green was a Crimson Tide fan before transferring to The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She now works as a Public Information Officer(PIO) for an unknown company.

Green worked with WTXL-TV/ABC27 News where she serves the station as a co-anchor for the WTXL Sunrise Morning Newscasts. He comes to WTXL-TV from WFXG located in Augusta, GA where she was managing all aspects of the newsroom as a news director. Prior to this, she was serving as a weekday evening anchor for WNCT-TV.
She kick-started her career in Television news while she was still in high school working as a production and news desk assistant in her hometown of Montgomery, Alabama. Her on-air television career kick-started when she was serving as a Reporter at WVTM, Alabama’s 13 in Birmingham. She has also worked behind the camera serving for nearly a decade as an award-winning special projects/investigative producer and assignment editor.
During her time at the station, she also got a chance to produce undercover camera investigations and work as a field producer for NBC News Channel. There, she was covering major national news stories like the Belt Way Sniper murders and the Space Shuttle Columbia’s explosion over Texas.
She is also a recipient of a regional Edward R. Murrow award while she was there. Away from work, she enjoys lending her voice and support to nonprofits to help bring awareness to various causes. Asides from that, she also enjoys cooking, and eating while spending time with her family.
