Vogan works with WTXL-TV where he serves the station as an on-air Weekend Meteorologist and Weekday Journalist. He is trading in his winter gear for t-shirts and shorts. Prior to ABC27, he was working as a weather producer at our sister station WKBW in Buffalo, New York. He was raised near Lake Erie and watching how snowstorms developed and blanketed cities sparked his love for weather.

Vogan kick-started his meteorological education at Buffalo State University and went on to get his degree in Geosciences in Operational Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Dave states that when it comes to the tropics are a no-stranger to hurricanes in Florida.

He was working for Scripps he had the opportunity to cover Hurricanes Matthew, Irma, and Dorian. Away from work, he is always down for a good meal. Asides from this, he also loves to explore with his dog Slappy. Asides from that, he is excited about the opportunity to learn more about communities from Big Bend to South Georgia.
