Ashley Kewish Biography
Ashley Kewish is an American Emmy-Award-Winning Anchor/Reporter working with KSL-TV where she serves the station as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter. She joined the KSL team in the year 2005.
Ashley Kewish Career
Kewish works with KSL-TV serving the station as a weekend anchor and a reporter. Her assignments have taken her through the world. He traveled to Rio de Janeiro for the Summer Olympics and to Mali, West Africa for documentary work highlighting the severe poverty and dangerous living conditions in the country.
Kewish was recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for her work on KSL’s Wednesday’s Child segments. There, she shares the stories of children living in the Utah foster care system. Ashley sits on the Advisory Board for The Adoption Exchange, a group that works to find permanent homes for children living in state custody.
She states that she enjoys the opportunity to cover the lighter side of news from time to time. Ashley can be seen covering the Sundance Film Festival each year, and more recently reported live from the red carpet of the Golden Globes in Los Angeles.
Kewish was born and raised in Seattle and will always be a loyal Seahawks and Mariners fan. She, however, still enjoys the Pacific Northwest but is happy to now call the Mountain West home. Kewish is a proud graduate of Brigham Young University where he obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and running with her dog.
