Prior to that, she was a Student Assistant in the State of Michigan from February 2007 to October 2012. Dahlgren was a Sports Network Intern at WLNS-TV from September 2010 to May 2011. In that role, she filmed high school and college sporting events, worked and attended press conferences, wrote scripts accompanying film footage for the nightly sportscast, and conducted public interviews with coaches and players. When she is not working, she likes traveling, spending time with her family, running, working out, or doing something outdoors.
