Bill Rentschler Biography
Bill Rentschler is an American journalist who serves as a meteorologist at 10/11 NOW. In 2008, he graduated from Pius X High School and went on to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to study meteorology.

He earned his first career in broadcasting at KGWN in Cheyenne, Wyoming, after an internship at KLKN in Lincoln, where he worked as a reporter and meteorologist before completing as the nighttime meteorologist Monday through Friday in November 2015.
He began his career at KOLN in December 2015 as a reporter before switching to his current position in the weather department. He’s worked for KOLN and our sister stations all around the state, giving weather from the Panhandle to southeastern Nebraska, during his time here.
Bill received his CBM Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society in January 2020, a certification held by only around half of the on-air meteorologists. Bill can generally be found on the golf course with Ken when he has time away from work and the kids, which is rare.
