Miller is a private pilot who has incorporated his prowess in aviation and meteorological education at Mississippi State and Portland Universities. He works for NBC Chicago as a meteorologist whose forecasts appear at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. Upon joining the station, he served the station as a weekend weather forecaster. He started his weather forecasting career in 1989 when he worked at FOX 32.
