Bret Baier is an American journalist working as FOX News Channel’s anchor and executive editor of Special Report with Bret Baier. There he also serves as the chief political anchor of the network. In addition to these roles, he also serves as the political anchor of the network.

Baier serves as the executive editor of Special Report with Bret Baier (weeknights at 6-7 PM/ET) and anchor at FOX News Channel. On joining the network, he started off by working in the Atlanta bureau prior to joining the network in Washington, DC. He also served as the moderator of a policy debate between Sen. He also held an exclusive interview with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir in October 2018 and discussed the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Still, in 2018, he interviewed the President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega, and talked about the country’s civil and political unrest. He, later on, interviewed former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey in April 2018.

In May 2017, he anchored President Trump’s first foreign trip, and in April 2017, and also held an interview with Jordan’s King Abdullah II and talked about terrorism and war in Jordan.
