Bria Bolden is an American Multimedia Journalist working for WMC-TV serving as a reporter and multimedia journalist. Previously, she worked as a multimedia journalist and reporter at WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia.

After graduating from school, Bria attended the University of Texas at Tyler in 2015 where she studied for one year before enrolling at the University of Texas at Austin in 2016. While at the University, she graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Bolden also worked for KVR News as an associate producer where she produced and edited on-screen graphics for anchors as well as reviewed video elements for the newscast.
Later on, Bria secured a position as an anchor and reporter at KVR News where she worked from January 2017 to May 2019. As an anchor, she was responsible for conducting interviews and editing packages and VOSOTs for the newscast on a deadline. In addition to that, Bolden also worked as a co-executive producer for the Tower talk at KVR News in Austin, Texas. She also collaborated with the Executive Producer in each segment show and selected stories for the newscast.

Before joining WMC-TV in January 2022, she worked for WTOC-TV in Savannah, Georgia as a multimedia journalist and reporter. While there, Bria covered high-profile news including the trial of the three men convicted of murdering Ahmaud Arbery and Georgia’s 2020 U.S. Senate runoff election. She served the station for two years and one month from December 2019 to December 2021.
Prior to working at WTOC-TV, Bolden served as a news intern at KTBC FOX 7 in Austin, Texas from June 2019 to July 2019. While there, she was in charge of various roles such as shooting stories, editing packages, and writing teases.
She began her career at CNN in Atlanta, Georgia working as a News assistants intern before later accepting a position as a newsroom editorial operations intern. During her time at CNN, Bria worked together with other stations such as HLN Control Staff, Show Teams, and CNNI. She also operated a teleprompter for the CNN brand as well as researched and wrote content for CNN Weekend Evening News.

Apart from working as a journalist, Bolden served as a seasonal sales associate at Ann Taylor in Houston, Texas from December 2017 to January 2018. Previously, she worked for TC Energy as a midstream summer intern from May 2017 to August 2017.
