Brian Schnee is an American Anchor and reporter working for KUTV 2New as a news anchor and reporter. Before joining KUTV 2New, he worked for KSTU Fox 13 TV in Salt Lake City as a news anchor.
Brian Schnee Education
After graduating from high school, Brian enrolled at Keene State College in 2009 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2013. While still studying, he was hired as a reporter at KSCTV News from September 2011 to May 2012.
After that, Schnee got an opportunity to work at FoxCT in Hartford, Connecticut where he served as a sports intern. As an intern, he was in charge of shooting videos, writing scripts, and providing sports news. He served the station for three months before later moving and joined NESN in Quinnipiac University where he worked as a live game shoots. Two months later, he secured a position as a color commentator at his college station.
From there, he went on to work as a sports writer at Equinox from September 2012 to May 2013. While still working at The Equinox, Brian also worked as a radio host at Monadnock Radio. He hosted various shows such as ‘The Dean Prentiss Show’ and created the ‘Keene State College Quick 5 Sports Report’ segment.

Schnee serves as a news anchor at KUTV 2News / KMYU in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to joining the station in January 2023, he worked for KSTU Fox 13 TV as a news anchor from October 2019 to January 2023. Previously, Brian served as an evening co-anchor at KTVL-News Channel 10 in Medford, Oregon from July 2017 to October 2019. While there, he also worked as a freelance broadcaster at PlayOn! Sports. As a play-by-play commentator, he covered multiple sports news including the Northern Section CIF Volleyball championships, the 2014 CIAC Boys Basketball, and the 2013 CIAC & NHIAA Field Hockey Championships.
Before working at KTVL-News, he spends nearly two years working as a prime-time sports anchor and sports director at KDRV NewsWatch 12 in Medford, Oregon. Earlier, Schee worked for the National Lacrosse League as a play-by-play broadcaster from January 2015 to June 2015. Besides this, he also appeared as a play-by-play broadcaster at Cox Communications. He also reported various news including the close-controversial gubernatorial race, the 2018 midterm elections, and wildland fires.
Prior to this, he worked at WSHM-TV, the CBS 3 affiliate in Springfield working as a reporter. He also served as a play-by-play broadcaster at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. From March 2014 to November 2014, Brian worked for AM 1580 Colorado Springs as a fill-in host. On top of this, he also served as a sports correspondent at Telegraph Publishing Co. from September 2013 to July 2014. He started his journalism journey at WTIC-TV as a sports intern and as a host at an ESPN-Radio affiliate in New Hampshire.
