Britt Waters is an American anchor, reporter as well as a host of NBA WashWizards working for WJLA as a traffic anchor. She joined the station back in September 2021 as a morning traffic reporter.

Waters is a journalist who has experience of about ten years in a journalism career. She has also been in the DMV area doing TV, radio, and sports hosting. She joined the station after serving as a morning traffic reporter on 7News On Your Side and a lifestyle host on Good Morning Washington.
She was also in the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band while still in college. Immediately after she graduated, she was given a chance in entertaining millions on the nationally syndicated Russ Parr Morning Show. She was then hired by WPGC in DC, and WNEW in New York City, and hosted on the DC Cable Television Network. During the night, she is mostly hosting the in-game show Washington Wizards.
Waters had also worked for other stations prior to joining WJLA. She had previously worked as a host for the USAB 2021 Olympic team, and the WNBA- winning a championship ring with the Mystics. Whenever she is not in the station or hosting in arenas, Britt hosts SiriusXM’s Pandora Now Thumb 20 Countdown Show. She obtained her BA in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland where she was in the Mighty Sound of Maryland Marching Band.
