Brittany Jacob is an American Anchor/Reporter working with ABC30 Action News where she serves the station as a Weekend Evening Anchor/Reporter. She has been working with the ABC30 Action News team since the month of September 2020.

Jacob works with ABC30 Action News where he serves the station as a Weekend Evening Anchor/Reporter. Prior to ABC30 Action News, she was working with KFVS12 in the Cape Girardeau, MO market. There, she was serving the station as an Evening Weekend Anchor/South Illinois Bureau Chief and Reporter.
While she was working with the station she covered a number of stories such as gubernatorial elections, the infamous Illinois state budget stalemate, high profile murder case, and the Cairo housing crisis among others. Asides from that, she was a 2020 Finalist for Best Reporting at the Illinois Broadcasters Association Silver Dome Awards.
She is a proud graduate of Howard University located in Washington, DC. Raised in Houston Texas, Jacob is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists(NABJ). This is in addition to being a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
She kick-started her professional career in media sales, marketing & advertising working with iHeart Radio and CBS Radio in Washington, D.D. Jacob is also a lover of theatre, traveling, experiencing new cultures and foods, and cooking. Away from work, she enjoys exercising and yoga, spending time with her family, and visiting wineries.
