Alyssa Flores is an American Multi-media journalist/Anchor working with the ABC30 Action News team in Fresno, California where she serves the station as a Multimedia Journalist. She has been working with the station since the month of June 2020.

Flores works with ABC30 Action News where she serves the station as a Multimedia Journalist. She joins ABC30 News from KERO-TV located in Bakersfield where she became familiar with the Central Valley. While there, she served the station as a Live Center Anchor where she followed trending, developing, and breaking news stories in the morning. Asides from that, she also co-hosted “Foodie Friday,” which was featuring local businesses and events in Kern County.
During her time working in Bakersfield, she covered a number of stories which include local government, California’s major wildfires, education policies, and crime trends throughout the county. Asides from that, she has also told stories of the pulse of Latino culture in Kern County, which include an Emmy-nominated story about civil rights activist Dolores Huerta being recognized with her own holiday in California.
She kick-started her career in journalism by working with KFBB located in Helena, Montana, where she was reporting for stations across the Treasure State from the Capitol. While in Montana, she covered prominent court trials, policies from the governor’s office, and the state’s legislative session.
Flores is a proud graduate of California State University in Fullerton where she majored in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Spanish. The Southern California native is happy to call the Golden State home again. Away from work, she loves all things coffee and Disney and traveling.
