Brooke Kirchhofer is an American anchor and reporter working at WWL-TV where she serves as a weekday and weekend sports anchor and reporter. She joined WWL-TV in September 2021, after previously working at WVLA-TV. 

Kirchhofer attended Atascocita High School where she graduated with a diploma and later in 2013, she joined Lamar University where she graduated in 2017, with a Bachelor’s degree in communications broadcasting. After graduation, Kirchhofer was able to secure her first job at WLTZ in Columbus, Georgia where she served as an anchor and reporter. While she worked at WLTZ, she covered lots of SEC sports inclusive of; the University of Georgia, Auburn University, and the University of Alabama.

Furthermore, before she relocated to New Orleans, she frequently traveled to the city to cover the Saints. Prior to joining WWL-TV, she worked in Baton Rouge for a period of two years as a sports reporter and anchor. While she worked in Baton Rouge, she covered; high school sports, the Saints, and LSU.

In addition, she gained an interest in sports at a young age all thanks to her father who is a member of the PGA. Since she was 4 years old, she has been playing sports and during her four years in college, she played soccer. During her leisure time, she enjoys exploring New Orleans and spending time with her family and friends.
