Candice Hare is an American journalist who serves on the KMVT News team as the weekend anchor and reporter since January 2021. She grew up in Southern California but has also resided in Colorado and the Florida Panhandle.

Candice was formerly on the air with TVG, America’s only horse racing television network, where she specialized on international racing. It was a role that required her to report from several locations throughout the world, including Australia and Hong Kong.

Candice earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California, Riverside. She enjoys training dogs in her spare time, especially her young rescue dog Heidi, who is learning Barn Hunt for the first time. Candice is thrilled to be relocating to the Magic Valley. On KMVT every Saturday and Sunday from 10-11 p.m., you can catch her.
