Max Mueller Biography
Max Mueller is an American journalist who serves as a morning meteorologist at KMVT/KSVT Twin Falls, Idaho since October 2020. He grew up in a small suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota, where he spent much of his summers either on the water of White Bear Lake or the St. Croix River.

His interest in weather began in his early adolescence when he paired his photographic skills with whether to try to capture lightning on stormy days. Since watching his first tornado in May of 2011, he’s been obsessed with severe thunderstorms and tornadoes, devoting time every spring to drive across the country in pursuit of twisters.
Max graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks with a degree in atmospheric science. He subsequently moved on to KVRR in Fargo as a weekend meteorologist, and he is looking forward to no longer having to cope with the harsh North Dakota winters when the worst temperature he experienced was -33°. When he’s not forecasting the weather, he may be found rooting for the Minnesota Twins, watching Formula One, or watching the latest movies.
