Carol Clarke Biography
Carol Clarke is an American journalist working for WYFF News 4 as an anchor at 4. 6, and 11 p.m. In addition, she serves the station as the health and medical reporter on “4 Your Health.” She joined the station in 1985 and has served the station for more than 3 decades. Previously, she worked for WHAM(then known as WOKR) as a news anchor and reporter.

Clarke joined Northern Michigan University at Marquette in 1975 when she finished her high school education. In 1979, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. Part of her senior year was spent at Richmond College in England where she studied British Mass Media. Also, she holds a Master’s degree in Health and Nutrition Education. Moreover, she worked at the campus news bureau and the campus PBS affiliate.

Clarke won the Champion-Tuck Economics Business Reporting Prize for her series on the textile industry in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Additionally, she was inducted into the NATAS Silver Circle. The South Carolina Broadcaster’s Association gave her its Masters Award in 2007.
