Caroline Bach Biography
Caroline Bach is an American journalist working for WKOW as an assistant news director and content manager since July 2021. Before that role, she worked as a dayside producer and anchor. She joined the station in August 2014 as morning executive producer, anchor, and producer and has served the station for over a decade. Previously, she worked as a reporter and anchor at WVVA in Bluefield, West Virginia.

Bach joined Baldwin Wallace University in 2012 when she finished her education at Walsh Jesuit High School. In 2012, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor Of Arts degree in Broadcasting and Mass Communications.
During college, Bach kickstarted her career working as a producer for Parma Area Community TV. There, she broadcasted schools, local government, and sports. She also held internships at WEWS in Cleveland, WTOL in Toledo, and Dateline NBC in New York City. Bach has won WKOW a regional Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award through her breaking news coverage and the Wisconsin Broadcaster’s Association for her reports and producing. She was vital in taking the local Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend to a statewide broadcast in 2015.
Bach previously worked as an anchor and reporter for WVVA in Bluefield, West Virginia. There, she covered numerous stories that attained national attention including the Freedom Industries chemical spill into the Elk River in Charleston and Hurricane Sandy. She also reported on West Virginia’s inaugural Boy Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.
Bach broadcasted the capture of a fugitive, who worked as a doctor and researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, on the West Virginia Turnpike. He was accused of poisoning his wife with cyanide. This coverage earned WVVA an Associated Press spot news coverage Award
