She also tenured at WNKY-TV in Bowling Green, Ky., as a meteorologist and also interned at WEHT-TV in Evansville, Ind. There she gained valuable experience from the station’s meteorologists in the area of forecasting. She enjoys working with the most experienced and some of the best meteorologists countrywide in one of the most severe weather-prone areas.
Her career interest grew fonder after a big snowstorm when she was seven years old that left 16 inches of snow over her hometown. She became more fascinated after the severe weather but her ideal weather is sunshine and 70 degrees. Aside from her forecasts, she loves reading, traveling, and playing with her dog which she considers her daughter. She also enjoys giving in to her guilty pleasure of reality television.
