Catherine Heenan is an American Peabody-Award-Winning Anchor/Reporter working for KRON4 News in San Francisco Bay Area where she serves the station as an Evening News Anchor. She joins the KRON4 News team from WTMJ-TV located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Heenan works with KRON4 News where she serves the station as an Evening News Anchor. While at WTMJ-TV, she was covering legal and political beats and received numerous awards for her investigative and general assignment reporting. She, not only made a decision to leave Milwaukee for San Francisco but also made headline news. Heenan may be one of Milwaukee’s only reporters to receive a city proclamation naming a day in her honor.
She has been recognized for her work which includes the exclusive news series “Cloistered Nuns.” In her work on the series, she and her photographer became the first and only outsiders ever permitted to enter the monastery of the Poor Clares in Los Altos Hills. Among her other memorable reports include coverage of the peace plan process in Northern Ireland and the Northridge earthquake.
